Sarah has many important roles in our clinic and is so appreciated by all of us!
She is from Fredericton, NB and graduated from Saint Thomas University in 2001 with a BA. She then moved to the island in 2003 with her partner Chris and has since received her diploma as a Veterinary Assistant in 2004 and earned her B Ed at UPEI in 2011.
Sarah first began working with animals in 2002, volunteering at the Fredericton Humane Society and working as a dog groomer’s assistant. She started out here at CVC as a volunteer in 2003 and officially joined the team in 2004.
Her dog Bruin came to her by way at CVC, she had been hospitalized here and was very sick with parvovirus. After weeks of slow recovery (including some sleepovers at her house) Sarah ended up adopting her! It was the great care she got here that made their life together possible. In their house they also have 3 lovely cats and 1 degu! 🙂
In her spare time, Sarah loves to garden and go rock climbing!
Her bucket list includes:
-Spending a couple weeks in BC with Chris, hiking, biking and rock climbing !
